What is a Docvik automation or agent?
An agent is an automation that watches or handles one job in ERPNext, such as monitoring purchase rates or following up open quotations. It recommends first and acts only with approval from a person you choose.What can AI do that scripts and APIs cannot?
Scripts follow rules someone wrote in advance. AI can learn what normal looks like from your own history, notice patterns nobody wrote a rule for, such as a customer who has stopped buying a category, and explain why a number moved. It then recommends the next step for a person to approve.Do we have to replace our existing scripts or WhatsApp bot?
No. Docvik works beside them through ERPNext's API. Your scripts, print formats, and bots stay in place, and an automation can feed its findings into a bot you already use.Will automations change our data on their own?
Not by default. Automations recommend first, and actions such as drafting a follow-up or raising an alert happen only after a person you choose approves.Which automations are ready today?

Security & data
Where is my data stored?
All customer documents, extracted fields, and PII are stored exclusively in your dedicated AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) infrastructure. Nothing leaves your AWS tenancy in production. AI extraction runs on AWS Bedrock in Asia Pacific — data never leaves APAC.Who at Docvik can see our documents?
By default, nobody. Every customer's data lives in a tenant-isolated namespace. Docvik staff access only with your explicit written consent for support cases — scoped, time-limited, and logged.Is this DPDP compliant?
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act is baked into the architecture: data residency in India, deletion-on-request, breach notification readiness, and access logs. Data Processing Agreement available on request.Are documents encrypted?
Yes — encrypted at rest (S3 with AES-256, RDS with KMS-managed keys) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). KMS-managed customer-specific keys available on the enterprise tier.What about SOC 2 / ISO 27001?
SOC 2 Type II is in progress (target completion 2026 H2). ISO 27001 follows. If you need a certified vendor today, we offer contractual security commitments and respond to security questionnaires within 24 hours.

How much does Docvik cost?
Three monthly plans: Starter at ₹10,000, Business at ₹25,000, and Intelligent at ₹50,000. Each includes a set number of automations from the same catalog above, plus ERPNext workflow setup and custom reports. The intelligence automations, such as document, sales, and quotation intelligence, unlock on Business and above; reconciliation and exception monitoring unlock on Intelligent. There's no open-ended free trial. Starter is ₹10,000/month with no long-term contract, so you can start on the smallest plan and move up once you see it working.Can we move between plans as we grow?
Yes. Move up a tier whenever you need more automations, agents, or reports — there's no renegotiation or lock-in. Need more than the Intelligent plan covers? Talk to us about a custom plan.
Integrations
Does Docvik work with ERPNext?
Yes. Docvik is built around ERPNext. Agents create and update records through ERPNext's API, for example draft Purchase Invoices from approved invoices and Sales Orders from customer purchase orders. Tell us your ERPNext version and modules and we will confirm the fit.What about Tally?
Tally is supported as a source for ERPNext. The Tally sync agent imports sales vouchers into ERPNext invoices and flags exceptions such as unit mismatches and duplicates, so they can be fixed and retried.What if we use a different ERP?
Docvik is built around ERPNext. Agents that read documents and push results through a REST API can be connected to other systems, but we scope those individually. Email hello@docvik.ai with your ERP and the workflow you want automated.Can I get raw extraction data via API?
Yes. Every approved document is available via REST API + webhooks. Your engineering team can build any downstream workflow.

How long does it take to get live?
Our pilot is designed so your first real invoice flows end-to-end within 1–2 weeks. Week 1: workspace setup, ERP connection, your team trained on the reviewer UI. Week 2: pilot batch processed, accuracy tuned for your vendor mix.Do you train the AI on our documents?
The AI works out of the box — no training needed to start. It improves over time as your reviewers correct edge cases (corrections feed a per-tenant vendor memory layer that doesn't share data across customers).Who do we talk to for support?
Right now, the founders. Directly, on WhatsApp or email — no support ticket queues. Once we scale, the enterprise tier will get a dedicated customer success contact with SLA-backed response times.What about regional languages — Hindi, Tamil, etc.?
The reviewer UI is English today. Document extraction supports Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Telugu, and Kannada — including vendor names and addresses in regional scripts. Reviewer UI in regional languages on the 2026 H2 roadmap.Can we cancel and export everything?
Yes. No lock-in. Full export of documents (originals + extracted JSON) and audit logs available anytime via API or one-click ZIP. We delete your data within 30 days of cancellation (or immediately on request).
